Hi! My name is Sharon Lindy. I'm a 3-Star Parelli Instructor who has spent ten months in Colorado as one of Pat Parelli's Apprentices; six months in Montana with Pat's teacher, Ronnie Wills; and nine months in Texas studying with Craig Johnson, the World Reining Champion, based in Gainesville. I've also studied extensively with Linda Parelli using her new Fluidity concepts. Are you ready to improve your skills? Parelli Natural Horsemanship is a systematic approach to teaching Peopel about Horses (Levels 1 to 3) and to teach Horses to be good for People (Levels 4 to 6). I'm currently working on reaching Level 4, and I enjoy sharing the knowledge I've gained with others who are ready to find a better way to be around their horse. When you get it right, you and your horse are happy, relaxed and responsive to each other. We are living in the information age and it has never been easier to find information without ever leaving the comfort of your own home. The frustration comes in actually achieving the same results you see in the Parelli videos ... particularly when you're dealing with another individual (like your four-hoofed friend!) who isn't able to watch the same videos. Pat Parelli has been teaching horsemanship since 1982 and like to tell people "I'm an overnight success ... after 20 years!)" Pat is a perfectionist and continues to refine the program and explore new teaching innovations. The current Partnership, Harmony and Refinement Packs are the culmination of this work, enabling people to be more successful and to advance through the levels more quickly and with more confidence than ever before. Even if you've advanced through the old Packs you'll find the new system will still improve your results! The Level I Partnership Pack is the place to start your journey. It's easy to read and to understand, and will improve your confidence and your ability to "speak horse". There are plenty of reference materials in the Pack to help you on your way. Once you've started, then will be the time to see Pat on tour or participate in a clinic with one of his instructors. The instructor is your coach, accelerating your learning and understanding and assisting you to get the most from your study of the Packs.
